Just In..Supreme Court Clears Way For Tinubu’s Inauguration.

The Supreme Court has cleared the way for the inauguration of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima as President and Vice President on Monday May 29.

This follows the dismissal of the appeal filed by the People’s Democratic Party, seeking a nullification of the APC presidential ticket on grounds that Shettima violated the electoral law by being nominated for two elective positions

But the apex court in a unanimous judgement on Friday held that the PDP lacked the legal rights to sue the APC over the matter and also faulted the facts as presented by the PDP.
