Gunmen Suspected to be bandits have reportedly killed over Thirty People in a Fresh Attack on Two Plateau Villages in Mangu Council area of the state.
The fresh attack which occured on Tuesday Morning at Fungzai and Kubwat Villages also left many injured with Properties worth millions of Naira destroyed while thousands displaced.
An eye witness who is a member of one of the community attacked revealed that the attackers who are Fulani Militias invaded the two villages in their large number on Tuesday morning unlike their usual style which is midnight and began shooting with over Thirty dead bodies recovered,and many people still missing.
Meanwhile, the Plateau State Governor-elect, Caleb Mutfwang, has expressed rude shock over the bloody attacks
Mutfwang, in a message of comfort, condemned in totality the attack while Appealing to security agencies to rise up to their constitutional responsibility of protecting and securing citizens, particularly rural dwellers.
As a result of the attack,people from the affected communities and other neighboring villages were seen fleeing in droves.
