Fire Guts Goods Worth Millions Of Naira At Sapele Main Market Waterside.
Goods Worth Millions of naira have been destroyed by an early morning fire outbreak at the popular Sapele main market waterside, in Sapele local government area of Delta state.
It was gathered that the fire which started around 2am on Friday, razed down most of the shops that were mainly used as warehouses for goods worth millions of naira.
Feelers from the market have it that before the firefighters could get to the scene, majority of the shops were already destroyed.
While the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, sympathizers and the affected traders are appealing for government assistance.
