The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Zonal Office in Enugu has been gutted by fire. which consumed one of the buildings of the Command.
The Commission’s Headquarters which confirmed the incident in a Statement by its Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren explained that the incident which occurred at about 12:30 am on Friday was triggered by a surge in public power supply.
The Statement also confirmed that no life was lost in the ensuing inferno that was later put out through the combined efforts of the Enugu State Fire Service and the Federal Fire Service.
