The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says the logistics and technical lapses encountered in last Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly Elections will “NOT REPEAT ITSELF IN NEXT WEEK’S GOVERNORSHIP AND STATE ASSEMBLIES ELECTIONS”.
Chairman of INEC,Prof Mahmood Yakubu made this promise at a Strategic Meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners from the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT,Abuja.
The review meeting is coming against the barrage of condemnation and criticisms trailing the February 25th elections.
