The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Labour Party, LP and the African Democratic Congress, ADC have called for the immediate cancellation of the 2023 Presidential election and a fresh election to be held immediately.
The parties said the fresh election should be conducted within the window provided by the electoral Act 2022.
The political parties also passed a vote of no confidence on the INEC chairman Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu.
The party alleged that the commission has compromised the entire process and have failed Nigerians.
The parties also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently intervene in the situation to avoid chaos in the country.
