Cross River State Commissioner For Women Affairs, Professor Gertrude Njar has been kidnapped this Wednesday by some Gunmen in the heart Of Calabar,the state capital.

The Commissioner For Information and Orientation,Eric Anderson Confirmed to Newsmen in Calabar, that Prof. Njar was kidnapped at the Mayne Avenue, Calabar.
Anderson said Information gathered from the Security operatives has it that they are closing up on the kidnappers, as the vehicle of the kidnapped Commissioner has been discovered around the South Area of Calabar City.
