A coalition of Civil Society Groups in Edo State are currently protesting the incessant petroleum pump price increment and other crude oil products in recent times.
The protest commenced at Sapele road benin city after which the protesters moved to the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, NUPRC where they blocked the gate.
With the price of fuel in most fuel stations now going for as high as five hundred naira per litre and one thousand naira per litre for black market, their appeal is for relevant authorities to come to the aid of the masses.
