The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), who was recently kidnaped in the Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State, North Central Nigeria, has regained his freedom.
The DPO, simply known as DSP Laree, was abducted at a Hotel last week thursday in Pankshin Council area, a day after he had resumed posting as the New DPO of the Area.
It was however not clear how much the kidnappers were paid in ransom for the DPO’s release.
A family member who did not want his name mentioned confirmed that the police officer has regained his freedom and has been taken to the Hospital where he was currently being given Medical attention.
