Luck ran out on a Brazilian returnee at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja as he was made to excrete 92 wraps of cocaine he had ingested. 53 years old Okolie Paulinus Nwabueze was arrested on Friday September 2nd upon his arrival on Qatar Airline flight en route Brazil- Doha-Abuja.
He excreted the 92 wraps of Cocaine after days under observation at the NDLEA Facility.In the same vein, a 42-year-old man,Aliyu Bello Kwasare has been arrested at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport,Kano over attempt to export a consignment of new psychoactive substance,known as “Akuskura”
Operatives of the NDLEA also Intercepted no fewer than 1million tablets of Tramadol at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos through inter Agency collaboration with the Nigerian Customs.
The drugs packed in 50 cartons were imported from Pakistan via Addis- Ababa on Ethiopian Airways. While a freight agent,Aliyu Abubakar was also arrested on Friday September 9 at the NAHCO Export Shed in Lagos over attempt to export a consignment of cannabis Concealed inside bottles of Caro White Body Lotion.
In Auchi,Edo State,a pregnant lady,Haruna Favour was arrested with 82 punches of methamphetamine as well as various quantities of other hard drugs.
Spokesperson for NDLEA,Femi Babafemi said all the arrested persons would be charged to court accordingly to serve as a deterrent to others.
