There are more troubles for the suspended commander of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Nigerian Police, Abba Kyari as he has been declared wanted over drug dealings by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)
NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi in a media briefing in Abuja on Monday said Kyari had compromised while he was heading the Force Intelligence Response Team

NDLEA accused Kyari of being an active member of a drug cartel. The Agency also released a video to journalists purportedly showing Kyari giving money to an NDLEA operative on a covert operation. The conversation in the video is in the Hausa language

The NDLEA has therefore declared him wanted for illicit drug trafficking, saying Kyari repeatedly declined to honour invitations by the narcotic agency.
This is coming few days after the Police Service Commission( PSC) gave the Inspector General of Police two weeks deadline to carry out fresh investigations and submit report into Kyari’s links with internet fraudster Ramon Abbas ,( Hushpuppi) who is awaiting sentencing in a U.S. court. The PSC was dissatisfied with the DIG Joseph Egbunike investigative report, and wants the fresh probe to be concluded within two weeks

Kyari was earlier indicted by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) which submitted evidence before a court alleging that the ‘super cop’ was using his position as an enforcer for the criminal activities of Hushpuppi
